About the Teacher

  Mrs. Alison Gentry, 3rd Grade

Hi, I'm Alison Gentry, a native of Phenix City and have been teaching in Russell County for 27 years.  I'm a graduate of Glenwood School and Columbus State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  My goal is to equip children with the tools necessary for success in life.  I bring value to my classroom by providing an enriched learning environment that is both inviting and safe, with a curriculum designed to challenge my students and encourage them to grow to their full potential.  In addition to being a dedicated educator, I'm an avid football and NASCAR fan, as well as  having interests in container gardening, home decorating, and cooking.  I have been married for 25 years and have one son, a daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren.
