TIPS FOR BEING A SPELLING STAR
A list of spelling words are assigned to your child each Monday during class. The list is to be kept in the student's homework folder and reviewed nightly in preparation for testing on Friday.
It is suggested that your child study each week's list every night to assure success on Friday's spelling test. It is helpful to (1) preview the entire list on Monday to determine which words are more challenging, (2) focus on five words each night, and (3) review the entire list on Thursday in preparation for Friday's test.
